We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
The focus of this position is Payroll, Accounts Receivable and month-end closing.
Duties:
I.
Major Duties &
Responsibilities:
1.
Support the Plant Controller a) Be the providing primary point of contact for Payroll.
b) Be the primary Accounts Receivable contact 2.
Account receivable duties:
a) Prepare & posting daily deposits, b) Verify that invoices are sent to customers & monthly statements and filing.
c) Provide back-up for daily invoicing.
3.
Credit & Collection duties a) Perform collection calls on all accounts over forty-five days old.
b) Verify that all customers have credit limits.
c) Maintain credit limits.
d) Maintain credit hold status, including communication of hold status to Sales.
4.
Payroll a) Accurately and timely process the bi-weekly payroll.
b) A high degree of accuracy must be maintained.
c) Answering payroll related questions.
d) Perform payroll changes records e) Properly documentation of the payroll changes.
f) Generating and entering payroll journal entries.
g) Reconciling payroll accounts.
h) Generate & enter payroll related month-end journal entries.
5.
General Ledger a) Generate & enter month-end journal entries.
b) Reconcile assigned account c) Month-end reporting as assigned 6.
General a) Accurate record keeping b) Filing HR and sensitive document c) Maintain Training records d) Maintain Job Description records e) Maintain employee benefits records f) Organize, maintain and establish department records 7.
Back-up others in department 8.
Prepare Commission Statements for payment.
