Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of the meat - Package and label meat products for display and sale - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area and equipment - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
Experience:
- Previous experience in food production or the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or culinary roles, is preferred - Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses - Strong knife skills and ability to safely operate cutting equipment - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their meat selection and provide recommendations - Attention to detail to ensure accurate cutting and packaging of meat products - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff Note:
