00 PM Objective:
Under direct supervision of the 2nd shift Supervisor, the order picker is responsible for safely and efficiently operating all powered equipment while maintaining cleanliness and organization of all warehouse functions.
Order picker duties and responsibilities Locate and remove product from shelf locations by using a voice activated picking system.
Deliver products to various areas of the warehouse in a safe and timely manner using an order picker.
Label products as per company procedures and place on a conveyor.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory.
Scope of
Responsibilities:
To assist the Unit Clerk in obtaining accurate shipping/receiving receipts Managing inventory organization Accurate inventory staging Maintaining powered equipment upkeep Confirm all Freight Bill has been confirmed and signed-off on prior to moving product from receiving to Count/Sort staging area Confirm destination/ location and required markings:
pallet tags, labeling (colored cones for visual marking) Only move material to destruction staging area after identifying completed checklist items and given confirmation by Supervisor, Clerk, or Unit Manager Properly mark all sorted and documented product in quarantine area prior to destruction.
Include pallet tag (see document).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
