Senior Security Architect for EAD manages internal entities to provide common technical security architecture. Reviews proposed changes & projects in the internal CLIENT environment for Security impact and assists in recommending secure options to meet business needs. Evaluates new products and vendor offerings for use within CLIENT. Implements COV and CLIENT security architecture policies and procedures. This position works closely with the COVA Security and Risk Management team to monitor potential security threats and their defense internal to CLIENT. In addition, position manages EAD technical asset inventory, and coordinates internal server management. In addition, position manages EAD application server administrators and serves as backup for deploying and managing application software in the development, test, and production environments.
Experience:
Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security of an IT environment
Experience in the development and presentation of information security architecture policies, standards and procedures
Experience in monitoring IT environments for compliance with information security architecture policies and standards
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and acquire new skills/knowledge to meet customer needs.
Thorough understanding of customers priorities and the business criticality of platforms, applications and
services
Minimum of 8-10 years experience in industry or state
Knowledge & Ability:
Demonstrated ability to bring problems to resolution regardless of diversity and level of seniority of those involved
Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information
Skilled in interpreting complex information and providing informed analysis
Proven ability to lead and manage teams and projects
IIS v6, v7, v7.5 security and administration
Coldfusion security and administration including web site configuration, patching, and updates
WebSphere Application Server administration
WSUS patch management administration
Ektron and SiteCore CMS administration
SSL Certificate management and deployment
SFTP / FTPS management and administration
Web and WebService application deployment
Security, data encryption, authentication and authorization skills
