We are currently searching for Civil / Structural Engineers to fill a long term contract opportunity (possible temp-to-direct) in the Richmond VA area.
Selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the CSA department by working on stand-alone projects or as support to large scale EPC projects while coordinating with all disciplines.
Civil Structural Engineer will assist with the process of developing bids, proposals, scope of work, schedules, cost estimates, materiaals lists, drawings, and associated project documentation.
Could be required to perform field work at times including short out of town trips to collect information or meet with clients.
Will be rwquired to perform technical studies and calculations.
Projects could be large scale EPC projects in heavy industries, or smaller retro-fit or repair projects worked independently.
Qualifications:
BS degree in a related discipline
Four to ten years of experience.
Some industrial project experience (chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, power, refinery, food, tobaco, or similar).
Expeience with AutoCAD, RISA-3D, Revit desired.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with equipment foundations / supports, process buildings, and access platforms.
Experience with water flow analysis, civil structures, plumbing design, sewer design, etc.
Working knowledge of associated industry codes which include: OSHA, API-620, API-650, NFPA 13, IBC, AISC, ACI, AISI, and ASCE.
An extensive background check and a drug screen will be required prior to selected candidate being able to start work.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
